What sort of items have you collected so far? What was it that made you want to keep these items? Make notes in your learning log.
I've collected many items so far. The things I have collected are pieces of paper, gift wrapping, paint strip samples, postcards, train tickets, gift packets and bags, license disk holders, business cards, ribbon, magazines, napkins and leafles.

I think the reason I picked these items up was because of the patterns, colour, how unusual an item was or the general appeal, size, purpose or what it was advertising.
While picking up the gift wrap, I was thinking of scrapbooks and using them for inspiration and for backgrounds. For the paint samples I was thinking of doing really quirky crafts with them as the colours go down in the different shades and have the most awesome colour names, which in itself has potential inspiration!

From the different things I have collected so far, all seem to be bright colours and items with some kind of embellishment, like foil or glitter, or anything that shines.
I also have many different kinds of magazines, I collect these for any scrapbooking or sketching ideas, but also for page layout, typography and photo ideas.
